In October 2006 the UP2YOUTH project organised its first thematic workshop. Its purpose was to establish the dialogue with practitioners and policy makers on the three topics of young parenthood, civic participation and the transitions to work of immigrant and ethnic minority youth. This UP2YOUTH newsletter documents the keynote speech by Carles Feixa as well as the draft reports resulting from the first phase of the thematic groups.
