The Austrian Institute for Youth Research is partner in working group concerned with Youth Participation.
The Austrian Institute for Youth Research carries out youth research on regional, national and international level and offers information services to policy makers, youth workers and youth organizations. The Austrian Institute for Youth Research is a non-party and non-profit oriented institution and sees itself as a bridge between science and practice. It is the only research institution in Austria that has been involved in youth issues in a systematic way and on a regular basis for decades. The institute carries out basic research and performs the function of informing the public about the living situation of children of young people as well as social, economic and institutional conditions of youth. The Austrian Institute for Youth Research is involved in international research projects as well as in national and regional studies. Current issues are political participation of children and young people and transitions from school to work:
