Together with the new Communication on youth adopted by the Council, the European Commission has launched the Youth Report, consisting of data, statistics and short analyses of the situation for European youth in many different areas.

It is the first time the Commission has produced such a report, and it is foreseen that follow-up reports will be produced every three years.
