The Centre is partner in working group concerned with Youth Participation.

The Centre provides following types of sociological analysis and information for professionals and students: 1. European Youth Policy 2. Civil youth policy in Europe 3. A documentation centre for teaching manuals and projects of youth work 4. Sociological surveys of political participation of youth 5. Training courses for workers who are active within the structures of youth work system in Slovakia.
After 1989 the centre became member of the research team for the creation of civil society in Slovakia at the Institute for Sociology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. In 1995 the project PHARE ‘Citizenship and Participation in Slovakia’ was coordinated. The Centre coordinated the research group for ‘Preparedness of Citizens of the Slovak Republic for European Citizenship’ (1997-1999) and on ‘Youth associativism in Slovakia’ (2000-2002). The Centre also participated in the EC projects Youth and European Identity (2001-2004) and EC project Political participation of Youth-Euyoupart (2003-2005).
